Six for Sticks Reading Challenge!
Bethel is excited to
participate in the SIX FOR STICKS
READING CHALLENGE by the Greenville Road Warriors. All you need to do is read 6 books and
complete the Six for Sticks reading log that was sent home. The reading log is
due this Friday, October 24th.
You will receive a ticket to the November 14th Road Warriors
game. We hope to see everyone there!
CogAT Testing for 2nd Graders!
The Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) will be administered to all second graders starting Wednesday, October 22nd – Friday, October 24th. The CogAT test measures students’ abilities in reasoning and problem solving.
Testing Tips:
- Get a good night’s sleep the evening before the test.
- Eat a healthy breakfast the morning of the test.
- Make every effort to be at school each day of testing.
- Encourage your child to listen carefully to their teacher.
- Remind your child to read each question and response before selecting their answer.
- Encourage your child to do their best work.
