Fall Dance!
Dress up in your
favorite Halloween Costume and join us for our first dance of the year on
Friday, November 7th. The
dance will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm.
Box Tops due Friday!
All Box Tops are due
Friday for our second contest of the year.
Please put your Box Tops in a Ziploc bag with your child’s name and
their teacher’s name written on the outside.
For every Box Top turned in, we receive $0.10 for our school.
Iowa Testing for 2nd Graders!
The Iowa Test will be
administered to all second graders on Tuesday, October 28th and
Wednesday, October 29th. The Iowa test is
a nationally standardized test which measures students’ performance in reading
and math.
Testing Tips:
- · Get a good night’s sleep the evening before the test.
- · Eat a healthy breakfast the morning of the test.
- · Make every effort to be at school each day of testing.
- · Encourage your child to listen carefully to their teacher.
- · Remind your child to read each question and response before selecting their answer.
- Encourage your child to do their best work.
