Bethel is on the hunt for $500!
Seek and Snap is Sunday, April 14, in downtown Greenville! This family-friendly, digital, scavenger hunt is a fundraiser for Let There Be Mom.  Your four person team will have two hours to SEEK answers to clues/riddles and SNAP proof of your find.  Seek & Snap is a great memory making event for friends and families and an excellent team building exercise for businesses. Teams should register on-line at Let There Be Mom's website by April 3 (late fee applies after March 27). LTBM will award the school with the highest percentage of votes $500!  So register today!   www.lettherebemom.org   Volunteers are also needed and can register on-line, as well.

Spring Sing
The following fifth grade students auditioned and have been selected to participate in Spring Sing on March 26 at the Peace Center - Hailey Zentz, Lindsay Taylor, Kaitlyn Runzel, Danny Donegan, Ben Solesbee, Haley Morgan, Macey Morgan, Caleb Lyles, Caroline Gallman, and Katie Wood. This event is an opportunity for students to participate in a district-wide musical performance. Congratulations to these students!

Our next spirit night will be on March 28th at Moe’s on Woodruff Road from 5-8:00.  Please make sure to mention you are with Bethel when ordering.

Immunizations
Beginning with the 2013-14 school year, all children entering seventh grade must have received a dose of Tdap vaccine to protect them from pertussis (whooping cough).  Parents do not have to wait until their child enters the seventh grade as children as young as seven years old can be vaccinated.  Parents will need to provide their child's school with a South Carolina Certificate of Immunization showing that their child received this newly required Tdap vaccine. Please don't wait - avoid the rush by making an appointment with your child's healthcare provider to get the required Tdap vaccine and other vaccines recommended for your child's protection.

Reminders from the Health Room
In order to avoid spreading illnesses to others, students must be fever free (less than 100 degrees) for 24 hours, without fever-reducing medication before returning to school.  In addition, students must be free of vomiting for 24 hours before returning to school. Thank you!

Student Council to Raise Money for Make-A-Wish Foundation
Student Council will be selling cups for 50 cents, and bracelets and magnets for $1.00 each during the week of April 8th-12th. Student Council will also host a Hat Day on April 12th. Students can pay $1.00 to wear a hat that day at school. Please support Student Council’s efforts for this worthy cause.
