Next School Year
Looking ahead to the 2014-2015 school year, parents will be allowed to send Mrs. Byrd a letter providing information about their child(ren). This information will be considered as the administrative team makes classroom assignments for next year. You may choose to include your child’s strengths and weaknesses and also his/her learning style. Please understand that we have many students at Bethel, and we will do our best to accommodate students’ needs when possible. Separate letters should be submitted for each child, and you are asked to submit a hard copy of your letter(s). Parents will not be allowed to request a specific teacher. If a specific request is made, it will not be honored. If you choose to submit a letter to Mrs. Byrd, please do so no later than April 30.

Spring Book Fair
Our spring book fair will be April 7-11!  The book fair will be open from 7:30am-3:00pm Monday - Thursday and 7:30am-9:30am on Friday.  On Monday, we will have Family Night before the PTA meeting from 4:30-6:30pm.  For more information about the book fair or to check out our online book fair, please visit the Bethel webpage.

Bethel Bash
Plans are well under way to make this the best BASH ever! May 16th will be here before we know it; so plan now to attend! It’s the perfect family fun event. There will be new attractions, fun games, and great food. Please note that the playgrounds will be off limits to ensure the safety of all BASH attendees! We welcome all confetti eggs, silly string and hair paint donations.

Spirit Night
Our next Spirit Night will be on Thursday, April 10th from 4-10 pm at Firehouse Subs on Woodruff Road. Please be sure to mention Bethel when placing your order. As always, thank you for supporting Bethel PTA!

Volunteers Needed

The Bethel Bash is one of the most fun events for our students as well as our volunteers! We need volunteers the day of May 16th to help with set-up, selling tickets, selling concessions, running carnival games and rides, and much more. Please mark it on your calendar now and plan to help out and join the fun! Please let us know if you can volunteer by emailing Lori Flaherty at loriyflaherty@gmail.com to be put on the list of Carnival volunteers, and you will be contacted as it gets closer to the date.

Box Tops
We have collected over 29,000 Box Tops this year!! WOW! That’s a whole lot of Box Tops, and we have all of you to THANK. We are still collecting so keep clipping! The next deadline will be April 30th. The top student from K-2 and 3-5 will each win a $15 Game Stop gift card. Send in clipped Box Tops in a Ziploc bag with your child’s name and teacher.
