K5 and 1st Grade Registration for 2014-2015
We will hold registration for kindergarten and new first grade students for the 2014-2015 school year January 13th-16th.  Click here to download the registration forms and information, or you may pick up a copy at our school.  Registrations should be hand delivered to the school during office hours – 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.  Parents need to provide the completed registration form, two proofs of residence (recent utility bill such as water and power), an immunization record and a birth certificate (long form).  Early registration ensures that we have enough teachers in place to accommodate our students for the fall.  Please help us spread the word in the community!

Father/Daughter Dance
Parents, mark your calendars now for February 7, 2014!  Bethel will hold the Father/Daughter Dance from 6:30-8:30 in the school cafeteria. It is truly a special night for the fathers and daughters alike.  Look for more information in your child's Friday folder soon.

2nd Quarter Report Cards
Report cards for second quarter will go home on January 23rd. Please let your child’s teacher know if you need a conference. All students are encouraged to complete on-line Compass activities at home, and they should also read daily for at least 20 minutes. Thank you for supporting our efforts with student achievement!

Bethel Bash
It’s the favorite day of the year for the students at Bethel! The annual carnival is May 16th and we can always use donations and help! Now is a wonderful time to be on the lookout for cans of colored hair spray. Do you have extras left over from Halloween? We will even take partially used cans. Also please be sure to send in your confetti eggshells. Make sure they are empty and dry please. Be sure to put your teacher's name on the carton and we will have a prize for the class that sends in the most eggs.

Our next Spirit Night is Thursday, January 16th, at Twisted Cup on Woodruff Road from 2:30-8:30 pm. Come join us and enjoy some yummy frozen yogurt as we support Bethel Elementary School! As always, Bethel PTA will receive 20% of sales. Please mention Bethel when ordering.
