Elf Shelf Holiday Shop
The Elf Shelf Holiday Shop will be
open December 2nd-6th. Your child’s
teacher will sign up for a time that his/her class will visit the shop, and the
time will be communicated to you beforehand by your child’s teacher. The shop
gives the children a chance to purchase holiday gifts for their parents,
grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings and friends on their own. The gifts will
be wrapped and sent home with your child. Additional information and money
envelopes were sent home on Friday, November 22nd. We will also open the shop
for the first ever family night on Monday, December 2nd from 4:30-6:30. You are
welcome to come with your children and watch as they experience this great
event!
Would you like a chance to win a Sportsclub membership?
We are currently at
70% for PTA memberships, and our goal is to reach 100%! Bethel is known to have
a very strong PTA, but we can only do that with your support! Every person that
joins the PTA from now until Dec. 9th will be entered in a drawing to win a 3
month couple’s membership to the Sportsclub (valued at $417). PTA memberships
are $5.00 each. You can join as many times as you like to better your chances
of winning. Family members such as aunts, uncles and grandparents can join
also. The PTA membership form is on the website, or you can just send in $5.00
with your child’s name and teacher’s name labeled PTA membership.
Canned Food Drive
December 9th-13th Student Council will be sponsoring a food drive for God's Pantry, located in Fountain Inn. God's Pantry feeds the hungry through twelve food pantries in the Upstate.
Our next spirit night will take place on
Tuesday, December 3rd from 5:00-8:00 pm at Chick-fil-A on Woodruff Road. Please
make sure to mention you are with Bethel when ordering. Bethel will receive 20%
of all sales. Thank you for supporting Bethel!
Bethel Bash
It’s the favorite day of the year for the students at Bethel!! The annual
Carnival is May 16th and we can always use donations and help! Now is a
wonderful time to be on the lookout for cans of colored hair spray. We will
even take partially used cans. Also, please be sure to send in your confetti
eggshells. Make sure they are empty and dry please. Be sure to put your
teacher’s name on the carton and we will have a prize for the class that sends
in the most eggs.
Teacher Crockpot Luncheon
PTA will be hosting the annual Crockpot Luncheon for the teachers on
Friday, December 13th. The teachers always look forward to this day and we are
so grateful to be able to treat them. If you are interested in contributing or
