We have been busy preparing for the year ahead. Jump on board as our
school-wide theme this year is Sailing the Seas of Success! We look
forward to an awesome school year as we drop our anchor in a fun-filled, sea of
learning!
Meet the Teacher
Meet
the Teacher will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm on Monday, August 19. Classroom rosters
will be posted at 5:00 pm that night. Class assignments will not be released
before that time. Kindergarten, first, and second grade students are asked to
drop-in from 5:00-6:00 pm. Third, fourth, and fifth grade students are asked to
drop-in from 6:00-7:00 pm. Please be sure to adhere to the times listed above.
Parents and students will be able to visit classrooms, meet teachers, join PTA,
learn about Girl/Boy Scouts, and much more! We look forward to seeing you
there!
IMPORTANT!!
If you have a K4, K5 or 1st grade child who will need bus transportation at any time this year, you need to have a school-issued, numbered tag to show the driver at the bus stop. Please stop by the transportation table in the gym during Meet the Teacher. Representatives from the bus office will be there to answer your questions.

Muralist Joe McKinney spent a couple of weeks at Bethel this summer and his
work is outstanding! See if you can find the new murals when school starts.

Student Medication
The School Nurse will be available in
the health room for parents to drop off medications on the following
dates/times:
Friday, August 16 and Tuesday, August 20 (7:30 am
– 3:00 pm both days)
Monday, August 19 (Meet the Teacher
Night) from 5:00 – 7:00 pm

Box Tops
Box Tops are an easy way to earn money for our school. Last year we
collected over $3,500!! That’s over 35,000 Box Tops! We were 6th in the state
for collecting the most Box Tops. What an awesome accomplishment for Bethel!
All you have to do to help is clip your Box Tops at home, put them in an envelope
or bag labeled with your child’s name and teacher, and send them to school. We
will hold monthly contests to see who can clip and turn in the most Box Tops.
Our first deadline will be Monday, September 30th. The top student from K5-2nd grade
and 3rd-5th grades will receive a $25 Toys R Us gift card.
