Sentence: Timmy would only eat pepperoni on his pizza because he was so persnickety.

All Arts Night
Please join us for All Arts Night on May 13th. Starting at 5:30, the halls on the lower level will be a showcase of student artwork. A scavenger hunt for hidden facts within the art will be fun for all! Also during this time, our physical education staff will offer a fun, active game in the gym for the entire family! To finish out the night, the chorus will perform a concert at 6:30 in the cafeteria. The concert will feature diverse elementary choral pieces, two of which were performed at "The Festival of Music" at Carowinds, which received an "Excellent" rating.

Yearbooks
All pre-ordered yearbooks will be sent home with students on Thursday, May 23. Any remaining yearbooks will go on sale beginning Friday, May 24 (first come first served) for $15 each. You may send cash or checks made payable to Bethel Elementary. Please do not send money before May 24th.

Reminder
Additional ‘No Parking’ signs have been added in front of the school on Bethel School Road.  Mauldin Police Department will begin writing tickets for any who are parked there. Parking on the street is not allowed. Thank you for your cooperation!

Bethel Bash T-Shirts
Get your one of a kind Bethel Bash T-shirt this year! One of our students created the winning design being used on the t-shirt. Congratulations to first grader, Julisa, on being our t-shirt designer this year. The shirt color is lime green. Shirts are $10 and order forms need to be returned by Monday, May 13th.

Bethel Bash
The Bethel Bash is this Friday, May 17th, from 4:00-8:00 pm! We still need donations of hair paint, silly string, and confetti eggs. There will be a prize for the class that has the most donations of eggs! Also, we still need volunteers the day of the carnival to help with set-up, selling tickets, selling concessions, running carnival games and rides, and much more. Please email Lori Flaherty at loriyflaherty@gmail.com if you would like to volunteer. For safety reasons, children will not be allowed to play on the playground equipment during Bethel Bash.

Silent Auction
The Silent Auction is held on the same night as Bethel Bash, and it is shaping up to be a great one! The auction has something for everyone! Don’t miss out on bidding for the following: a “Date Night” package, “Dreams Do Come True” Disney Hopper Passes, a “Time to Hit the Gym” package, a “Play Ball” package, photography packages, various jewelry items, a “No Place Like Home” Décor Package, dental packages, a Clemson Tigers Tailgate Table, and a USC Gamecocks Tailgate Table…plus many more!! The grade level baskets are going to “blow” you away! In addition to the grade level baskets, you also have the chance to bid on a “Howling Good Time” trip to Great Wolf Lodge this year. Thank you to everyone that donated an item to the baskets. Your participation and support is appreciated!

All auction items and baskets will be on display in the cafeteria at the Bethel Bash! Be sure to stop in and check out all the auction items. Bidding for teacher dates will be done in advance of the auction. Bidding for Principal for the Day, Assistant Principal for the Day, and teacher dates with related arts teachers will take place at the Silent Auction. Happy bidding and good luck!
