Parent Workshop
Please join us for a Parent Workshop on Friday, October 5th from 12:00-1:00 pm.  Shalonda Balkeney, Bethel Elementary Instructional Technology Specialist, will show you what students are using on their chromebooks in the classroom.  

Beta Club Induction
Fifth grade students invited to join Beta Club will have their Induction Ceremony on Thursday, October 11th at 8:30 am in the cafeteria. 

Reflections Contest
It's time for the Reflections Contest! Does your child enjoy art, music, dance, or have an interest in writing or taking photos? Join us in this year's theme, "Heroes Around Me." Pick up guidelines and rules as well as submission forms in the front office near the end of September. Entries will be due on October 25. Fliers are going home soon in Friday folders. 

One School One Book
One School One Book has officially kicked off!  This year our entire school is reading The World According to Humphrey by Betty Birney.  We would love to have volunteers come to read to a class.  Everyone reads at 2:00 Monday-Thursday.  For more information, please go to our website One School One Book.

GCS Visitor and Volunteer Guidelines
ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST RECEIVE DISTRICT APPROVAL PRIOR TO VOLUNTEERING AT ANY SCHOOL/CENTER OR CHAPERONING ANY SCHOOL FIELD TRIP. PLEASE ALLOW UP TO 2-WEEKS FOR THE APPROVAL PROCESS.
Greenville County Schools (GCS), in an effort to ensure the safety of all of our students, has implemented additional security checks for school volunteers.  All volunteers must submit an online application to the district and receive clearance from the district before volunteering at any school/center or chaperoning any school field trip.  To learn more information and submit a Volunteer Application click on School Visitors and Volunteer Guidelines.
