Book
Character Day
Book character day is coming to Bethel on Friday, November
10th! Celebrate reading with
us and dress up as your favorite book character! We can’t wait to see everyone!
Book Fair
Our Fall Scholastic Book Fair will be held in the media center Monday, November
13th - Friday, November 17th. Please join us for family night on Monday,
November 13th from 4:30-6:30pm before the PTA meeting!
CogAt and IOWA Testing
Second grade students
will participate in the Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAt) and the IOWA
test. The CogAt test will be administered October 25 - 27. The IOWA
test will be administered November 7 - 8. The CogAt test is an aptitude
test and the IOWA test is an achievement test.
Testing Tips:

Get a good night’s sleep
the evening before the test.
·
Eat a healthy breakfast
the morning of the test.
·
Make every effort to be
at school each day of testing.
·
Encourage your child to
listen carefully to their teacher.
·
Remind your child to
read each question and response before selecting their answer.
·
Encourage your child to
do their best work.
