Reflections
Contest
Bethel
Elementary is excited to be participating in the Reflections program again
this year for all interested students! We welcome entries in categories
including dance choreography, music composition, visual arts, film, literature
and photography. Our theme is 'Within Reach' and applications and full
rules are available in the front office, as well as in the Main Computer Lab.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact this year's
coordinator, Lindsay Wilkins, at lwilkins@greenville.k12.sc.us. The
deadline is coming up and all entries are due to the front office by Friday,
October 13th with completed paperwork. Please note we cannot accept any
late entries. We can't to see what wonderful things our students
will create!
Box Tops
for Education
Box
Tops are an easy way to earn money for our school. Last year we collected over $3000.00! That’s over 30,000 Box Tops! All you have to do to help is:
1.
Clip
your box tops at home.
2.
Put
them in an envelope or bag labeled with your child’s name and teacher.
3.
Then
send them to school.
Please
check to make sure the Box Tops aren’t expired and are clipped close enough to
the lines. We will hold several
contests throughout the year to see who can clip and turn in the most Box
Tops. Our first deadline is Friday,
September 29th.
Computer
Lab
Just a reminder to parents that we encourage
students to bring their own headphones or earbuds for use in the computer lab
or classrooms. The school store is open
Friday mornings and sells them for $2.00.
