Greenville Drive Reading All-Stars Program
Thank you to all 2nd – 5th students that participated in the Greenville Drive Reading All-Stars program.  You should have received your voucher for a game ticket along with instructions on how to exchange it for a ticket to the Reading-All Stars Celebration game.  The parade will begin promptly at 6:25 am.  The game begins at 7:00 pm.  Please contact Kim Brice if you have any questions at kbrice@greenville.k12.sc.us.


      
South Carolina State Assessment Dates
Students in grades 3-5 will be taking the state assessment called SC Ready for english language arts and math.  They will take SC Pass for science and social studies.  The dates of each test are listed below.  Please mark your calendars.
3rd – 5th graders
April 26: ELA and Writing
April 27: Reading
April 28: Math

4th – 5th graders
May 11 – Science
May 12 – Social Studies


Spring Bookfair

Congratulations to Mrs. Saunders
Mrs. Saunders has been chosen as a 2016-2017 Greenville County Schools Top Ten Teacher of the Year Finalist!  The selection committee will choose the next Teacher of the Year after participating in classroom observations and individual interviews with the Top Ten.   The announcement naming Greeenville County’s 2016-2016 Teacher of the Year will be made in August.





Volunteer Reception
All volunteers are invited to attend our Volunteer Reception on April 28th at 3:00 pm. Our volunteers support us by chaperoning field trips, providing lunch relief, serving on school committees, assisting in classrooms, and so much more! Please allow us to show our sincere appreciation by attending the upcoming reception. Childcare will be provided for children in grades K-5. Hope to see you there!
