Greenville Drive Reading All-Stars
The Greenville Drive Reading All-Stars Program, sponsored by Michelin, N.A., is a proven reading incentive program designed to promote reading enjoyment and academic success among youth through the excitement and appeal of professional sports.  All 2nd-5th graders are invited to participate.  Each student must read 5 books and record on their reading log.  All reading logs are due March 4th!  Each student was given a letter and reading log on Friday, February 5th.  If you need another reading log, please click here.

Lunch n’ Learn
Do you often wonder why children are given standardized tests?  Would you like help in interpreting your child’s score report?  Our instructional coach, Kim Brice, will conduct a Lunch ‘n Learn workshop to help parents understand the testing process and how to interpret scores.  This Lunch n’ Learn will be held on Thursday, March 3rd at 12:00.  Feel free to bring your lunch and join us for this workshop!

Boosterthon
We are excited to have Boosterthon back for a fifth year. We had a ton of success last year while putting much of that right back in the classrooms with our kids. Boosterthon is a different kind of fundraiser. While still raising money for our school, the Boosterthon team is in our school teaching our children about fitness, character and leadership. It’s a WIN–WIN! It all kicks off with pep rallies on Tuesday, March 1st at 8:30 and 9:30 am. Please plan to join us for the fun runs on Thursday, March 10th! More information will be coming home about this very soon!!!

Multiage Application
We will be accepting multiage applications March 1st – 18th. You may pick up an application in the front office starting March 1st  or we can send one home with your child at your request. A multiage brochure containing detailed information will go home in Friday folders. Our Primary Multiage consists of 1st/2nd graders and our Intermediate Multiage consists of 3rd/4th graders. We will have open spaces in all four of these grade levels. A structured lottery will be used to select students for multiage. Parents will be notified of selection results in April.

Extended Day Registration
We will accept new Extended Day (after school) registrations March 1st through March 18th. Depending on the number of registrations, we may have a lottery from the registrations collected during this time period to determine which students will receive a spot in the program for next year. Space is limited!  Forms are available HERE or in the front office. If you have questions, contact our program director at Janice Broyles at 355-4167.
