Fundraiser
We are so excited about our first ever Mixed Bags fundraiser that will be held this month.  Catalogs and order forms will go home on Friday, February 6th and the sale will end on Friday, February 20th.  Please be sure to return your order forms by Friday, February 20th.  This sale is full of kitchen items and the AMAZING Mixed Bags.  These bags are made of heavy duty recyclable materials and can be used for everything from toiletries, groceries to beach bags.  Samples bags are available for you to view in the office.  If you have any questions, please contact Stephanie Yearwood at glocksandthe3bears@gmail.com

One School, One Book
Our school will be embarking on a special project, an all school book club called One School, One book.  Every class received a copy of the book, The Lemonade War by Jacqueline Davies.  Mauldin High students helped us kick off this event by delivering the books to each classroom on Friday.  Each week, every class will read two chapters from the book.  Every Friday, we will have a trivia question about the book on the morning news show.   The winning class will receive “The Golden Lemon” to hang outside their classroom.  We would love for the community to be involved by reading to a class or simply asking students about the book.  Let’s all become a community of readers!

Volunteers Needed
We are looking for volunteers for the Annual Bethel Bash to be held on May 15th.  If you have a middle or high school student that is in need of community service hours please share this information.  We will have several shifts available and various activities for them to be involved.  Please contact Kelli Pellerin at kelli.pellerin@gmail.com or 420-0055.
