Crossing Guard Appreciation Week!
The South Carolina
Department of Transportation’s Safe Routes to School Program is excited to
announce the first Crossing Guard Appreciation Week. Crossing guards brave traffic and weather to
assist students across busy roads and intersections. They serve as a safety model for the
children, and also play a vital role in reminding adults to drive safely in
school zones. Bethel would like to
personally thank Janet Kimbell for her service each day in assisting our
students to school safely.
