All Arts Night
Please join us for All Arts Night on May 12th. Bethel’s new principal, Ms. Nerissa Lewis, will be available to meet families in the cafeteria from 5:30-6:30 that evening. Also starting at 5:30, the halls on the lower level will be a showcase of student artwork. A scavenger hunt for hidden facts within the art will be fun for all! Also during this time, our physical education staff will offer a fun, active game in the gym for the entire family! To finish out the night, the strings ensemble will kick off their performance at 6:30 in the cafeteria. They will perform a short selection of songs. This will be followed by the Cardinal Chorus. The chorus concert will feature diverse elementary choral pieces, two of which will be performed at "The Festival of Music" at Carowinds on May 3rd.

Bethel Bash
The Bethel Bash is this Friday, May 16th, from 4:00-8:00 pm! We still need donations of hair
paint, silly string and confetti eggs. There will be a prize for the class that has the most donations of eggs! Also, we still need volunteers the day of the carnival to help with set-up, selling tickets, selling concessions, running carnival games and rides, and much more. Please email Lori Flaherty at loriyflaherty@gmail.com if you would like to volunteer.

Silent Auction
The Silent Auction will be held in the cafeteria during the Bethel Bash. There will be lots of great items to bid on as well as a special item from each class! Be sure to check it out!

Yearbooks
All pre-ordered yearbooks will be sent home with students on Thursday, May 22nd. Any remaining yearbooks will go on sale beginning Friday, May 23rd (first come first served) for $15 each. You may send cash or checks made payable to Bethel Elementary. Please do not send money before May 23rd.

4th Quarter Report Cards
Please send in a self-addressed, stamped, business sized envelope for report cards. Report cards will be held for any student owing fees to school – lunch money, lost/damaged books, extended day program fees, etc.
