As
the year is coming to a close, we would like to thank the students, staff, and
parents for such an awesome year! Our students have learned much in and out of
the classroom. They participated in many worthy efforts to raise funds for
those in need – Make a Wish Foundation, Jump Rope for Heart, and Muscular
Dystrophy! Thank you for helping us teach children the importance of giving
back to others.
Silly String!
Bethel students have been
working hard this year to reach a school-wide goal to read at least 125,000
books. The school recently announced
that students actually read 134,131 books!
Bethel’s administrative team followed through with their promise to have
the top two classes who read the most books spray silly string all over them. Congratulations to Mrs. Ellis’ first grade
class and Mrs. Edlin’s fifth grade class. The administrative team enjoyed rewarding the
students for their efforts with reading!
Report Card Envelopes
Please
send in a self-addressed, stamped, business sized envelope for report cards.
Report cards will be held for any student owing fees to school – lunch money,
lost/damaged books, extended day program fees, etc.
Medications
All
medicine kept in the health room must be picked up by a parent/guardian no
later than Friday, June 6th at 12:00 noon. Any medication remaining in the
health room after that time will be destroyed according to school district
policy.
