Original Art
Your child has been working on a special piece of
art in his/her art class for the past month. You will receive this home in the
next few weeks with an order form full of products such as mugs, pillowcases,
flags, journals, etc. These items can be personalized with your child’s
Original Art. All orders will be back in time for the holidays.
Parent Portal
You can check your child's grades, attendance, and lunch balance on the
Parent Portal. If you don't have an account, come by the front office to get

Silent Auction Chairpersons Needed
Our annual Bethel Bash is paired with the Silent Auction and will take
place Friday, May 16th from 4-8 pm. If you like to ask for donations, organize
raffles and/or auctions, and want to help out Bethel we would love to have you.
We are in need of co-chairs for the auction this year. If interested, contact

Our next spirit night will be on Thursday, October 10th at
Firehouse Subs on Woodruff Road from 4:00-10:00 pm. Take a night off from
cooking and join us for great food. Thank you for supporting Bethel PTA!
Box Tops
Our second Box Tops contest is up and running. The top K-2 and 3-5 class
with the most Box Tops turned in will receive a pajama day. Please send in your
clipped Box Tops in a Ziploc bag with your child’s name and their teacher’s
name on the outside. Box Tops are due October 31st.
PTA Reflections Contest
Since 1969, National PTA has hosted the Reflections
arts program to encourage students to explore their talents and express
themselves. Each year, students in grades Pre-K through 12 reflect on a
specific theme through dance choreography, film production, literature, music
composition, photography and visual arts. This year the theme is:
"Believe, Dream, Inspire." Information regarding rules and how to
submit artwork as well as entry forms can be found at www.greenvillepta.com.
Just click on the PTA Reflections tools link found in the upper right hand
corner on the site. Encourage your child to participate. They might end up
being nationally recognized! Entries are due October 16th. Any questions can be
sent to Heather Constantino at haconstantino@charter.net.
Fall Dance
Dress up in your Halloween costume and join us for our first school dance
of the year on Friday, Oct 25th. The dance will be held in the staff parking
lot from 6-8 pm. Admission to the dance is $5 for Bethel students (no charge
for parents). Pizza, drinks, candy, and other items will be available for
purchase. All students must have a parent with them throughout the entire
dance. We will have a costume contest and prizes will be given out. No scary
costumes please!
